Can teak deep seating be used outdoors?▾

The teak-framed seating is intended for outdoor living. Follow the cushion’s own care and storage instructions, and let wet teak dry. Natural oils in teak heartwood contribute to water and decay resistance; that wood property does not make the cushions waterproof.

Will outdoor teak deep seating turn gray?▾

The teak frame can naturally weather to silver-gray outdoors. This color change concerns the wood, not the cushion fabric. Keep any cleaning or refinishing method for wood separate from the cushions; see the teak care guide.

How do I care for teak deep seating?▾

For occasional cleaning as needed, use mild soap and water and a soft-bristle brush on the teak frame, working with the grain. Rinse well and let the wood dry. ARB recommends no added teak oil or sealant. Follow the cushion label for fabric cleaning and storage; do not sand, oil or apply wood treatments to cushions.
