Compare outdoor footstool and leg-rest designs for your Canadian patio: three-position teak, teak with Textilene, Adirondack and a cushioned Villa ottoman. Choose by the support surface, adjustment and space available beside your seating. The wooden parts are Grade A teak; see ARB’s 5-Year Warranty.
The teak leg rest and teak-and-Textilene leg rest each offer three positions. Compare them with the Adirondack footstool and the Villa ottoman with arms and cushion for a different seating arrangement.
Check the chosen model’s footprint and how it works with your chair. Use the chair-companion guide when matching an existing recliner or seating family, or explore teak sofas, loveseats and chairs for a cushioned lounge layout.
Quick answers for choosing and caring for teak leg rests and footstools.
Decide whether you want a teak surface, Textilene support or a cushioned ottoman. Then compare adjustment, shape and space with your existing chair. A leg rest should not be assumed to fit every recliner or deep-seating model.
These models are intended for outdoor lounge arrangements. Teak heartwood has natural oils that contribute to resistance to water and decay, without making the wood waterproof. Follow Textilene and cushion instructions separately; let the wood dry before storage.
Outdoor teak wood can gradually take on a silver-gray patina. The color change concerns the wooden parts, not the Textilene or cushion. Refer to the teak care guide for wood care and the individual fabric instructions for other materials.
Clean teak only when needed with mild soap, water and a soft-bristle brush, working with the grain. Rinse the wooden parts and let them dry, keeping cleaning water off cushions. ARB recommends no added teak oil or sealant. Treat Textilene and cushions separately; do not sand fabrics.
