Buying questions
What should I measure for a mudroom mat?
Measure the clear floor area, the full mat thickness and the door’s travel over that area. Check the usable footprint around walls and fixtures, and consider how the mat will be lifted for cleaning beneath it.
Where does water go through a slatted teak mat?
Water can pass between the slats to the surface below. Check that surface’s suitability for the intended use and allow both mat and floor to dry. Clean dirt from the gaps and beneath the mat as needed.
Can I request a size that is not shown here?

How should I care for a teak entryway mat?
Clean when needed with mild soap and water and a soft-bristle brush. Rinse and allow it to dry, including beneath the mat. ARB recommends relying on teak’s own oils without added teak oil, sealants or finishing products. See our teak-care guidance.
